 Get Started:
If you new to yoga do not panic, you don’t have to be super flexible or extra strong in order to start your practise. Each of us is unique and so is the yoga practise, all you need to bring with you to class is a fun loving attitude and smiles on you face! The studio provides mats, water and changing rooms for our valued yogis. Dress comfortably and preferably wear something in which you can stretch your body out like an elastic band!

 

Pre Natal: is for pregnant women who want to take care and exercise their body and relax their minds.

The studio also offers yoga classes for pregnant ladies, yoga can be of great help to the expectant mothers during the pregnancy, at childbirth and in post-delivery stages. The yoga poses and meditation techniques help to make the body more flexible, improve posture, reduce anxiety and ease many pregnancy issues. It prepares both your body and mind for new situations and changes that occur during and after pregnancy.

Post Natal:

Postnatal yoga classes help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Classes specifically focus on rebuilding strength in the abdomen, back and pelvic muscle;releasing tension in the shoulders and neck;opening the chest. Classes also address common issues and concerns that may arise in this new chapter of life. Moms are welcome to bring their babies! Please note that we are a 1 flight walk up, and someone is always at the studio to help you carry your stroller.  

 

Corporate Yoga :
Yoga for stressed out employees can help minimizing absenteeism, reduce burnout, build team spirit and motivation and enhance productivity. Employee wellness and health can be improved by introducing yoga into their lives it leads to a better outcome for both employees and employer. The benefits are immense and with our meticulously designed program which includes the practise of asana coupled with meditation and correct breathing which can provide them with tools to deal with stress not only at the workplace but also in their personal lives.

 

Private Lessons:
We also offer private lessons for individuals seeking one on one attention for their yoga practise. Private yoga lessons can be used to address concerns such as injuries, therapeutics, energy balancing, and can even be used to transform bad habits, including postural misalignments and behavioural patterns. The benefits of private lessons are immense in case of any medical ailments related to the body as it empowers you with the tools and practices customized to your unique needs.

Kids Classes:Our classes are designed based on the interests, energies and developmental stages of children. We recognize that all children are unique and sometimes develop at their own pace. We are always open to working with you to create a yoga program for your child’s individual needs.
These are the classes for the age groups that we have combined, based on our expertise with yoga and children.

KIDS YOGA
1–2 yr. olds + 18 mo.–2 yr. olds
With yoga as the foundation, this class is filled with music and movement, hands-on stretching, animal yoga and affectionate massage. Designed as a yoga experience, this class promotes body awareness, motor coordination and bonding time for the caregiver and yogini. Age and developmentally appropriate props, instruments and toys present sensory integration and add to the yoga fun.


2–3 yr. olds + 3–4 yr. olds
Yoga comes to life in these fun and creative classes designed to stimulate a young child’s growing curiosity. Playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques, teach 2, 3 and 4-year olds about their budding bodies. Sprinkled with music, crafts, picture books, puppets and other age-appropriate props, we’ll spark the child’s inner yogini while enhancing language development, motor coordination and play skills. Classes are an equal balance between active & passive poses.


5–7 yr. olds
Cooperative games, theme activities, storytelling, music, and art engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of the 5, 6 and 7-year old child. Classes explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking, and environmental awareness.


8–10 yr. olds
Kindling the maturing independence of 8, 9 and 10-year olds, these classes encourage a deeper sense of body awareness, self-exploration and interpersonal skills. Alive with flowing sequences, balancing poses, breathing exercises, and creative relaxation techniques, children are sure to relish in their selves. As well, partner poses and cooperative yoga games inspire positive peer interactions that they are sure to carry into their everyday li


11–13 yr. olds
Expanding minds and maturing bodies come together through independent and group activities that stimulate preteens’ physical strength, emotional balance and self-confidence. Classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, deep-relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga.
 

14+ yr. olds
Drawing on their experience through creative reflection, teens explore the physical and philosophical practice of traditional yoga. Teen yoginis develop body and mind strength and flexibility through yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation. Journaling, group discussions and valuable activities create a positive environment that supports self-esteem, body appreciation and tools for stress management.
